Check the introduction

     Assalamualaikum ! :) Today we continued the presentation about thesis statement . Today only 2 partner will present were Ita's group and Asnawi's group . When Asnawi's group presented their thesis statement , Miss Zue was very angry because their thesis statement was wrong . Miss Zue ask us "What mistake that you all can see on their thesis statement ?" We just silent because we dont know what the mistake in Asnawi's thesis statement . That's make Miss Zue more angry . Fuhh ! At last , Miss Zue who are the one that helped them to correct their thesis statement . 

     After done with presented about thesis statement , we proceed with the introduction . Miss Zue was checked our introduction one by one .  I feel so nervous because I scared if Miss Zue will rejected my introduction . Although my introduction was so long , but I still not confident with my introduction . So , I and Farahani prepared 2 others introduction with 2 hook which were statistics and rheotorical question . I hope Miss Zue will accepted it . Insyallah !

      Before the class dismissed , Miss Zue ask us to make an outlining . She said she want us to be independent to do the outlining without she need to correct it because she tired to correct our mistakes one by one . I think what she said is true. We are University students . So , we need to be more independent . She also give us the example as a reference . Hope we all can do it correctly . Insyaallah ! That's all for today . Thank you :D 

Thesis Statement was Accepted :)

      Assalamualaikum guys ! :) Today we had to continued our presentation about thesis statement . As what I saw , Miss Zue's mood was not really good . She getting angry when they see cause and effect group presentation . It make me feel so nervous and scared to present my thesis statement .

     However , today I feel so happy ! Why ? Jeng Jeng Jeng ! My thesis statement was accepted . Alhamdulillah ! :D

 

Three thesis statement that we prepared which were :

1)  Although the government authorized students to bring hand phone to school, there are strong claims that bringing hand phone to school will bring more negative result than positive ones .

2) However, hand phone has become one of the major addictions among secondary school students, although it can cause many social problems like take and share pornographic pictures or videos .

3) Due to the various negative impact and shortcomings they bring, bringing hand phone school are not allowed .

 

     The thesis statement that Miss Zu had been accepted was number 1 . After that we have to make an introduction . That's all for today ! Thank you :D

 

Class without Miss Zue

     Assalamualaikum guys ! Today our class at PTDI 1 . Today Miss Zue was not entered to class . However , we must came to class because Miss Zue said who did not came to class , our BEL311 will FAIL ! Ohh its scary right ? So , we need to came to the class and make a discussion about the thesis statement .

     My group discussion for Argumentative essay were Faiz Adha and Fikri , Atikah Kardi and Fatin , Nadiah Solihin and Nadia Zamri and also Sarah and Syafiqah Salleh . 

     As we know our mistake yesterday , my partner and I needed to repair our thesis statement to become more better and make Miss Zue satisfied to our thesis statement . Alhamdulillah its better than before . So , we just need to present at the next class .

     After that , we helped others thesis statement . We were changed our opinion with each others . Class ended at 6 p.m. That's all for today . Thank you ! :)

Presentation for Thesis Statement & Introduction

     Assalamualaikum guys ! :) Today we were going to present a thesis statement and introduction . I hate this part because its not easy to make Miss Zue satisfied with our presentation . Huh ! 

     Before start the presentation , as usual Miss Zue ask for a volunteer to present the thesis statement . The class being so silent . Then , syukur Alhamdulillah Fikri and Faiz Adha volunteer to present their thesis statement first . However , Miss Zue was complained about their thesis statement and she was rejected it . So pity ! I understand what their feeling . :( 

     After that , Miss Zue ask to Fikri and Faiz Adha to called a name to present . They called Salihin and Faiz . Their topics about corruption and their thesis statement was so long . It make me feel so nervous because my thesis statement was so short and simple . Although their thesis statement was so long , Miss Zue was rejected . She said she know that Salihin and Faiz was copied from their material or on other word is Plagiarism . However , Miss Zue said that their thesis statement was so good and they just need to change a little bit . So , their statement was been accepted . Congrats ! :)

     The next partner were Acap and Asnawi . But they still not done with their thesis statement . So , the next partner were Izani , Syafiqah Azmi and Hakimah . After they present , Miss Zue get angry because she know that they do plagiarism . So , their thesis statement was rejected . 

     The next partner who are so lucky were Atikah and Adibah because Miss Zue was accepted their thesis statement . Congrats to both of you ! :) Then , Bariah and Inayah presented and follow by Nina and Wawa . Both of them , their thesis statement also have been accepted . 

     Today my group was not presented . The presented was continued at the next class . Before the class ended , Miss Zue ask us that tomorrow she do not enter to class . However , Miss Zue ask us to have a class at the library to make the thesis statement . We have to find our own group , for those people that make an argumentative essays have to discuss the pattern to make an thesis statement .

Introductory Paragraph

     Assalamualaikum guys ! :) Today , we learn about how to write the introductory paragraph . Miss Zue was explained to us how to make the introduction become more interesting for readers to read our introduction . As your information , the part of introductory paragraph should have :

• The hook - designed to grab attention of the readers immediately .

• The transition - moves the readers from the hook to the driving force of the essay .

• Thesis statement - main ideas of the whole paragraph

     When to write the introductory paragraph , we must follow this step to make sure our introduction are clear and interesting for readers to read . Besides that , there are seven type of hook that we can used to make an introduction which is :

• Personal example / observation

• Quotation

• Facts/ statistic

• Rhetorical question

• Current events 

• Contrast to the thesis statement

• Definition

     So , to make an introduction we must write the hook first and then the transition . After that , we must write the thesis statement . For your information , we also can put more than one hook to the introduction to catch the attention of our readers to read . I think it easy to do . Insyallah wish me luck . That's all for today .      Assalamualaikum guys ! Today  Miss Zue teach us about how to write thesis statement for outlining . Miss Zue was explained to us how to identified and write the thesis statement . She was explained one by one based on type of essay . 

     My type of essay is argumentative essay . We must to pay attention during the lecture . Eventhough our type of essay were different , we still need to know other type of essay . This is because to make sure when during examination everyone can answer correctly because we don't know what type of essay will come out .

     My group was choosen pattern 3 . Eventhough pattern 3 is more difficult rather than other pattern , we want try do the essay according pattern 3 . Insyallah we can do it ! :)

     Miss Zue want us to write a thesis statement only and we are going to present next week on tuesday because on Monday we don't have a class . Miss Zue are going to invigilate an examination for degree students . So, we have a lot of time to do the thesis statement . But , Miss Zue said, "more times means more pressure" . Commented Friend's Blog

      Assalamualaikum :) At 9 January ( Wednesday ) , my class was started as usually at Sri laksamana in computer lab . At the day , Miss Zue ask us to commented others blog . She said we must to give a valuable comments to others classmate's blogs with a proper sentences . 

     Before we proceed , Miss Zue ask us to update or edit our blog before commented each others . She give us 1 hour to update our last entry that about the steps when choosing a topic for term paper before we publish it . We have to include the steps , the link of materials , all the materials and also the difficulties when choosing the topic . I doesn't finish my entry , so the time that Miss Zue give I used to edit it .

     When we were doing update our entry , Miss Zue also ask us to check our title properly because she said that after this she will not even care to do a correction about it again . After we finished update our last entry , Miss Zue ask us to commented each others . Before commented , we must following each others blogs so that it easier for us to commented . 

      For fair and to avoid that we doesn't give a comments on our friend's blog , my group which were Ana , Athirah , Syafiqah , Ani , Izani , Hakimah and Wawa needs to commented the other side group which were Asnawi , Faiz Mida , Eyka , Adibah , Atika and Fatin . We must give an appropriate and motivated them to write a better entry . We were absolutely not allowed to critics and make them feel down . Assalamualaikum guys ! At this entry I want to story guys about my journey to choose a topic for term paper .   
  
     Firstly , I was in group with Farahani . When the task had given to us , we had decide to find two o three main title . After I done do many research , I have choose Paying cash vs Debit card : Which is better ? I doesn't know about it more but I just choose this topic because I dont know what the topic that must I choose . I just find the materials for this topic and present in front of class .

     After presentation , Miss Zue was accepted our topic . But at the next class my partner and I was changed the topic because we think that the topic was so hard to find the point and materials . We choose topic about advantages and disadvantages about blogging . But Miss Zue was doesn't accepted our topic . She said that our topic was so common . I feel so stressed . Everyday I feel want to cried . I dont know what the topic that I must choose . Also I doesn't had many time to discuss about this with my partner , Farahani because this semester my timetable was so fulled .

     However , my partner and I try to do the best in searching a new topic . Lastly , we had choose the topic about bringing hand phone to secondary school : Is it agree or disagree ? Alhamdulillah , Miss Zue was accepted our topic eventhough we must changed our title . So , our title now is Authorization of bringing hand phone to secondary school students : Is it really beneficial or a nuisance ? The type of essay is argumentative . Alhamdulillah thanks to God :'D

Fact & opinion

     Assalamualaikum guys ! At 8 January 2013 (Tuesday) , my class was started as usually . In the first class , Miss Zue ask Nadia to open her blog . Miss Zue was unsatisfied with Nadia's blog . Ohh her blog was same like my blog . Hoho ~ Miss Zue ask us to put some picture or any link to make our blog interesting . Sorry Miss Zue ! We can improve our blog next time . After Miss Zue saw Nadia's blog , Miss Zue remind to us that tomorrow we must comment our friends blog .

     Then Miss Zue continued with lesson today . At the day , we learnt about facts and opinion . I like to learn this because in my opinion facts and opinion quiet easy than another learning . Ok I want to tell you what's fact and opinion . Fact is a specific detail that can be proven as true based on objective evidence . While , opinion is a feeling of judgement , belief or conclusion that cannot be proven true by evidence . 

     After that , Miss Zue was prepared one game that included about fact and opinion . Miss Zue was devided us to 6 group . My group was number 6 . My members group were Fatin , Wasim and Nina . 

 

 TADAAAAA !!! The box that contains many product .

 

 

     Miss Zue ask us to become a seller . The product that our group choose was Johnson's baby powder .

 

 

     Our tasked was to do 5 facts and opinions and be the seller at in front . After that , we must asked to friends and asked to them to guess whether were facts or opinions .

My topic had been accepted

     Assalamualaikum guys ! At 7 January 2013 (Monday) our class was started at Dewan Sri Peria . At the day , Miss Zue ask us to bring a laptop to class to update a blog . Our class started at 2 o'clock .

     Our class started with my group presentation and Sara's group . Alhamdulillah , with our effort Miss Zue accepted our topic eventhough my title needed to changed . Fuhhh ! Our topic is authorization of bringing handphone to secondary school students is it really beneficial or a nuisance . I'm feel so happy at the time !

      After that , Miss Zue ask us to went to library because at DSP doesn't had wireless . So we need to went to library . But at library also doesn't had wireless . Miss Zue ask the students who doesn't had broadband must use a computer at computer lab in library . Glad that I had broadband . So pity to my friends who doesn't had broadband .

Class at lab

     Assalamualaikum guys ! Hope today in a good condition . Ok at 2 January 2013 (Wednesday) my class was started at CLL2 . That's near with my college . At the day , Miss Zue ask us to open online quizes at I-learn . She ask to do the assestment before 13 January 2013 .

     After that , she teach us about paraphrasing and find the main topic . As usually I think paraphrasing is more difficult rather than find the main topic . Find the main topic is simple and I think I can do it . Hehehe ~ Alhamdulillah ! 

     Miss Zue also ask my partner and I to get ready the topic for presentation at the next class . She ask us to find more topic to backup other topic . I doesn't prepare anything . Fuhh ! So stress ! Class dismissed at 6 o'clock . That's all for today . Thank you :'D

Sad Day :'(

     Assalamualaikum guys ! Firstly I want to wish Happy New Year for you all ! Hope at this year we are more better than past year . Amin InshaAllah ! Ok at 1 January 2013 (Tuesday) my class started at Block U . Today we were continue my presentation . First present was Sara and her partner . However , Miss Zue doesn't accept their topic . So pity ! 

     A few minutes ago , was my partner and I to present . I feel so nervous because I worried if Miss Zue doesn't accept my topic . But what I think its a real because Miss Zue doesn't accept my topic . She said that our topic was common . I went to my chair and I cried . I feel so sad because I'm so tired to do a same things everyday . I must find the new topic . Arghhh I feel want to scream at the time . After that , I message my mum and she said to me to be more patient . Hurmm I LOVE YOU MUM ! 

     After our presentation , Miss Zue learn us about paraphrasing and summarising . I think that summarising is easy rather than paraphrasing . Paraphrasing is so difficult . However , I must learn more about it . That's because for my future life .Miss Zue also give us the exercise to do .

     There are 5 simple steps that you should follow when summarising an article or short essay :
