What I have learnt in BEL311

Assalamualaikum :)

     How are you today? Actually, I want to share with you all about what I have learnt in class BEL311. 

     Seriously, at this semester I am very very very busy! I have a lot of assignment that I need to submit before the final examination. HUH! But what make me happy is, at this semester is the last semester that I need to learn BEL. Yeahhhh! I'm feel so happy! hak3 :P

     Ok continue about what I have learnt in BEL311. With teaching in BEL311, I have learnt many things that I don't know before. Miss Zue is a good lecturer that are teach me about BEL311. Besides teach me about BEL311, she also teach me about others like we need to be more punctuality, respect our lecturer and friends, be more undertake when do the job and many things. 

     Sometime, I feel that why I must studied this subject. Even though I have learnt it since part one but I do not take incentive to improve myself. I am always forgot what I have learn before. I just learn and did not apply it in my life. However, I remember the word that come from Miss Zue 'IF YOU NOT HELP YOURSELF, NOBODY WILL HELP YOU'. Remember ok guys! 

     So, I think I still need to learn English after this because I think English is very important nowadays. I don't like to learn English because I hate writing. I don't know why! Writing is totally make me migraine. It's not easy to write okay. I'm better choose calculating rather than writing essay in English.

     I have gain a lot of knowledge from BEL311. More specific and more detail about BEL311. Its more tough than BEL260. I think most of it is about writing. However, even though I don't like English, but now I know how to make a better references, introduction, in-text citation and so on. Alhamdulillah! 

     THANK YOU TO MISS ZUE BECAUSE TEACH US ABOUT BEL311. FOR MISS ZUE, WE ARE REALLY SORRY IF WE ARE MAKE YOU FEEL DISSAPOINTED DURING THE CLASS. I LOVE YOU MISS ZUE! :')

LAST CLASS FOR BEL311!!!

Assalamualaikum :)

     Today is the last class for BEL311. My class was started at CLL at 8.00 p.m. Suddenly, I feel so sad because this day was the last day I meet Miss Zue. After this, we are difficult to meet like usually. :'(

     Ok today we were did the last semester final examination paper. Orange paper that I tell you before. Remember right? At the night, we were discuss a lot of things about final examination. Miss Zue said that today she just want to discuss about section A and B. However, she also discuss and teach us about section C about argumentative essay. Hehehe ~ You are so good Miss Zue (y) She ask us to do section C and want us submit on Monday. 

     After that, Miss Zue ask us to pass up our portfolio. Even though I do my portfolio last minutes, but I still have submit on the day. Only Inayah and Bariah did not pass up their portfolio because they said that they are not ready and need to tidy up their portfolio. Miss Zue ask them to submit on tomorrow morning at Miss Zue's room.

     Class dismissed at 10 p.m. Suddenly, Miss Zue ask us to went to SL004. She said that she brings some food to us. She said because today was the last day, so that why she brings us some food. I was felt so sad because she so too nice even we are always make his feel angry and dissapointed. Sorry Miss Zue! Even though we are always make you feel angry and dissapointed, we are really love you! Ohh yaaaaa thank you a lot Miss Zue because brings some food to us. :')

     Seriously, I’m very proud got Miss Zue to lecturing us because she very kind to help all the thing even she little bit strict. I know that she become little bit strict because she want to help us to do better for BEL311 paper. BEL311 for this semester is different and more hard compared for last paper BEL260. 

     Then, after we were finish eaten all the food, we were take a picture with Miss Zue. Miss Zue also give a speech and advise to us. Everyone felt sad and some of us crying. So sad ok! THANK YOU TO MISS ZUE FOR ALL THE THINGS THAT YOU GAVE TO US! I LOVE U MISS ZUE!:*

 

Twins are the lecturer

 Assalamualaikum :)

     Today our class was started at CLL Sri Laksamana, as usual our class at the lab. Before we start our class, Miss Zue ask us to update our blog for those who not update their blog yet. So, at the time I take the opportunity to update my blog. 

     At the same time, Miss Zue also asked us whether we have done our online quizzes or not. Some of us said that they were done do a online quizzes and some of us said that they do not done do a online quizzes. I done do a online quizzes. Alhamdulillah ! Miss Zue said for those who are not done do a online quizzes must do at the time. 

     A few minutes ago, Miss Zue told us that today we were had 2 beautiful lecturer who were going to teach us today about discussion essay. We feels so suprised and think who were the lecturer that Miss Zue means. Then, she was laugh and suddenly she tells us that 2 lecturer who were going to teach us today were Inayah and Bariah. Twins in my class !

     Today, they were be our lecturer to teach us about discussion essay. Miss Zue ask twins to teach us about discussion essay because they were only do a discussion essay for their term paper. They explain about the discussion essay which is easy rather than argumentative essay. Ohh they are so lucky! Because Farahani and I do a argumentative essay for our term paper. Its so difficult you know! But Farahani and I will do the best for our term paper although the type of essay is difficult. Ok back to the twins. They also explain us that discussion essay have a fair condition like not just support for one side only. Inayah and Bariah undertake to explain us about discussion essay. Thank you for both of you ! :) 

     After that, Miss Zue was given us a orange paper which contain a last semester examination questions, October 2012. She asked us to do it all and discuss in next class. Miss Zue also remained us to do a argumentative essay for section C in last semester examination paper. But for the essay, Miss Zue ask us to send on Monday at their room. 

     Class dismissed at 6.00 p.m. That's all for today ! Thank you :D

 

Make a Conclusion

Assalamualaikum :)

     Today we came little early because class before BEL class its near. Today, Miss Zue was teach us about how to make the conclusion in essay. She explains a little bit on how to do it. 

     Then, she open the slide which was contain poet. The title for that poet is “The Jabberworker”. She ask Salihin to read the poet. The words in poet its so difficult to read. Miss Zue said that the words in poet do not include in dictionary. Salihin read it but started he looks like shamed. But after half of the passage he read, he can fluently read it because he read it like he was sing a song. 

     Then, she asked us whether we understand or not about the passage, and we say no because there have an alien words that we do not know the meaning. After she explains a little bit about the story, we can get what the writer want to tell us from that story and then we can make a conclusion from that story. 

     After that, Miss Zue had prepare one game. We were divided in 5 groups. I am group 2. My team members were Wasim, Eyka Kardi, Syafiqah Salleh and Nina. Miss Zue open three clip video. (I did'nt remember what the title of the video) Hehehe sorry Miss Zue! Lastly, our group was a winner because got a higher marks rather than others group. Yeeyyyy !

     Today was an amazing day for us because we have learnt something that useful for us. Class dismissed at 6 p.m. Then we go to 'Pasar malam' :P

Argumentative essay

Assalamualaikum :)

     Today our class was started at CLL as usual. Different for today because today we came early than before. Hehehe ~ 

     OK Today we learn about argumentative essay. She asked us whether we know how to make this essay or not. Miss Zue also said did Miss Syazwa Nabila (our lecturer past semester for BEL260) have teach us on how to do it or not and others. All of my classmates said that we already learn on how to make it and still remember a little bit on how to do it. 

     However, Miss Zue said that the argumentative essay for BEL311 is quick difficult rather than BEL260. Miss Zue reaches us on how to do it and she said that this essay is the famous question that always be the favorite in the final. So, we have to give more attention about this. Argue is about agree or disagree on something we want to discuss. It same like our speaking test that we have to agree or disagree about other opinion. Miss Zue said that we need do the argumentative essay according pattern number 3.

     After that, Miss Zue gives us example on how to do this essay and then she also asks us to do it by our own. Miss Zue want we finished the essay on monday and give it to her. The title is WOMEN ARE BECOMING BOLDER AS WELL AS MORE AGGRESSIVE AND MEN ARE MORE SENSITIVE. Support your opinion with reason and examples. Everybody do the thesis statement and show it to Miss Zue. However, that's no all everybody that Miss Zue checked their thesis statement because we do not had much time. Class dismissed at 6 p.m.

Trial for speaking test

Assalamualaikum :)

      Today our class at Dewan Sri Peria. Before we start our class, Miss Zue ask us how many students go to the Persada, JB. Half of us go to Persada, JB tomorrow. Miss Zue want to start the speaking test tomorrow but many group were not enough members because they are going to Persada. 

     So, Miss Zue told us what time we should attend to do the speaking test on Wednesday and Thursday night. Nabila's group are the lucky one because they will test tomorrow evening. Good luck for you all! Do the best ok ? :D

     After that, Miss Zue continued the try and error activity. As usual, Miss Zue was picked one group to do the practice for today. Rozita's group was the lucky one who needed to do a practice for the speaking test. 

     Before we started with practice speaking test from Rozita's group, Miss Zue asked to us that we do some practice or not. My classmates said no. But, my group which are including Sarah, Eyka Kardi and Nina had done do a practice for speaking test before. Even though we had done do a practice, Miss Zue feel disappointed with us because she did'nt know that my group had done do a practice. 

     After that, Miss continued the practice from Rozita's group and give them mark. Miss Zue said they got a good mark. In total Adiba and Rozita got 14 over 20, Pyka 12 and Wasim 13. Miss Zue hope that during the speaking test they will be better.

Replacement class(Compare & Contrast Essay)

Assalamualaikum :) 

      Today was our replacement class . Our class was started at CLL1 on 8.00 p.m. Miss Zue ask us to be punctual . However , we came late little bit at 8.05 p.m. Sorry Miss Zue ! >.< 

     Before started the class , Miss Zue ask us to give her the soft copy about second draft that had been commented by our friends and the original second draft . When Miss Zue was busy take the soft copy , I online Facebook . Hehehe :P  But tonight I'm not in the mood because I'm very very very miss my parents :'(

     OK Tonight we learn about how to write compare & contrast essay . The topic that Miss Zue gives to us was about the TV series 'Desprate Housewives' . Are you already watch this movie ? 

     Two characters that Miss Zue gives us were Bree Van De Kamp & Lynette Scavo .

     We were divided into 5 groups . My members group were Piqa , Nina , Izani and Ana . Our group needed to write an essay according pattern A . We were divided the worked . I do the introduction , Piqa do the conclusion , Izani and Nina do the differences while Ana do the similarity about Bree Van De Kamp & Lynette Scavo . Miss Zue also ask us to put the intext citation and references in essay . I don't know how to started my introduction . 

     Thank God , Miss Zue was teaches me how to write the introduction . Thank you Miss Zue :* After we done write the essay , we were combined our essay with each others . Then , like usually we gives the soft copy to Miss Zue . 

     Before the class ended , Miss Zue told us what we will do on next week . She said she will told us about the date of speaking test . She also reminds us to update our blog , do commenting and practice the speaking in the group . Wish me luckkk ! Thank youuu  ^_____^

Preparation for speaking test

 Assalamualaikum :)

     Today , we needed to do speaking practice for preparation speaking test on next week . Before we started our practice , Miss Zue explains to us how to do the speaking test . After that , Miss Zue divided us to 8 groups for speaking test next week . We ask Miss Zue to choose our own group but Miss Zue did not agree . So , my groups were Sarah , Eyka Kardi and Nina .

     After that , Miss Zue was choose Faiz's group as the example on how the speaking test will going . The title that given to Faiz's group was about 'Punctuality Among Malaysian People' . We will given 1 minute to read the question and 5 minutes to write down our points and 20 minutes for discussion .

     We also provided by Miss Zue a paper that have a rubric on how we graded by Miss Zue . So , we will give mark to Faiz's group today . Miss Zue also gives us papers on how to do the speaking test it like what we can use if we want to interrupt other person about the opinion . 

     After the discussion ended , Miss Zue asks us how much the mark we given to them . Most of us give the same mark as Miss Zue giving to them . Miss Zue also commented about them and what we have to do and what we had not to do . Congrats to Inayah and Faiz because gets a higher marks . While so pity to Asnawi and Ana because gets a lower mark . Its okay ! Both of you can do more better than today . INSYALLAH :D

     Before the class ended , Miss Zue gives us 6 sets of questions about topic for speaking test . That is we have to do during the weekend . Thanks you Miss Zue ! Tonight we still have replacement class at SL and we will do compare and contrast essay .

Peer commenting & giving mark

Assalamualaikum :)

     Today , we just continued about yesterday work . Miss Zue was checked all the paper that she gave to us . After that , we needed to do peer commenting . We have to changed our draft with other people . My draft had been changed with Faiz Adha and Fikri before . So today Miss Zue told me to change it with Nadiah and Nadia Salihin . 

     Farahani and I were finished already our work but Nadia's group still not yet finished . So we had to waiting until they finish their draft . While waiting Nadia's group finished their draft , Farahani and I online Facebook because I brought a broadband :P 

     A few minutes ago , Nadia's group done editing their draft . Then we change our draft and start to commenting . Miss Zue provides us a blue paper that we need to give a mark to other that we comment and cannot tell them the marks that we given . Secret ok :3

     Before class ended , Miss Zue ask us that for tomorrow class , we will do speaking practice . That's because our speaking test will start next week . Hopefully we all can get a good marks . Amin ! Insyallah we try the best ! While for the replacement class (tomorrow night) , we will do Compare & Contrast essay . Miss Zue also reminded us that she want us to done commenting and given a mark to others draft and will pass up to her on the tomorrow night . Lastly , Miss Zue also told us to do our online quizzes this week . Wish me luck ! :D

 Assalamualaikum :)

     Today our class was started as usual at Dewan Sri Peria . Today we needed to bring a laptop for checked our draft . Our class was started by the forum from Sarah's group . That's include Faiz , Nadia Salihin and Piqa . However , Piqa did not come to class because she had period pain . I hope you will getting well soon my lovely friend :*

     The topic that Sarah's group discuss was about plastic bag . Faiz as a Prime minister of China , Nadia Salihin as a housewife and Sarah as the host . They had explain some fact about our planet that had destroy because of plastic bag . They also gives some ways to reduce using plastic bag . Alhamdulillah they did a well job ! However , because only three people in the forum make it look weird and silence . Krikk krikk krikk krikk ~

     After that , Miss Zue ask us to choose which group is the best , the best host , and the best panel . For me the best group was Nad's group , the best host was Atikah Ahmad and the best panel was Faiz Adha . And also if Miss Zue ask us who's funny panel , I will say its Izzat ! Hihihihi :P

     OK after that , Miss Zue had give us a bright pink colour paper . It have 2 pages. First is self editing and the second is peer editing . We had to finish it because this Friday Miss Zue want the paper back . Miss Zue also said that we need to giving our draft that had been commenting by others friends to Athira . Because Athira has to give it to Miss Zue tomorrow .

     While Miss Zue busy checked other friends draft , Farahani and I editing our references . We actually had a lot of references , but we only use 5 materials . Thats all for today ! Thank you :)
